In daily life we often ask or give opinion to someone about something.  Our friends sometimes agree or disagree about our opinion.  Now, we shall study about

 opinion and thought.

Tujuan Pembelajaran

   Setelah mengikuti proses pembelajaran, peserta didik diharapkan dapat:

• Mengidentifikasi situasi yang memunculkan pernyataan pendapat dan pikiran 

• Menyebutkan situasi yang memunculkan pernyataan pendapat dan pikiran

• Memahami struktur teks dari pernyataan pendapat dan pikiran

• Memahami unsur kebahasaan dari dari pernyataan pendapat dan pikiran

• Menyatakan pendapat dan pikirannya yang sesuai secara tertulis kemudian dibacakan ke kelas

Definition 

An opinion is a way we  feel or think about a certain situation,  issue or person's condition based on our perspective.

Whenever we give or express our opinion,  it is important to give reasoning or an example to support our opinions or thoughts.

Personal Opinion:

In my opinion..... I think..... What I mean is..... Personally I think..... In my experience..... According to me..... I'd say that...  I want to point out that...  What I mean is...  I suppose...

I strongly believe that..... As far as I am concerned..... From my point of view..... As I understand..... As I see it..... I reckon..... I am compelled to say..... By this I mean..... To my mind..... Would like to point out that. In my humble opinion...

Agreeing with an Opinion or Thought

Of course... Exactly Yes,  I agree That's a good point That's true This is absolutely right. I agree with this opinion

I couldn't agree more I agree with what you are saying. I agree, I never thought of that. Neither do I. That's a good point. I think so too.

Disagreeing with an opinion or thought

I am sorry, I don't agree with you. I am not sure I agree with you. I don't agree with you. I am afraid I have to disagree with you. I do not believe that. By this I mean..... I disagree with you.

I think you are wrong. That's not the same thing at all. It is not justified to say so. I am not convinced that..... I can't say I agree with this, and here's why..... That's different On the contrary...

A child under 17 should be given right to drive a motorcycle to pick his mother.	In my opinion, it’s not good for children because they can be incidence.	I agree with what you are saying. It’s not good for children.	I don't agree with you because maybe there no one can drive motorcycle for picking his mother.
Studying at home while pandemic	Personally I think studying at home while pandemic is the best way now to less the pandemic.	This is absolutely right. By studying at home, we can avoid the collecting people in society and keep our healthy	That's not the same thing at all. Some students can’t concentrate well while studying because they maybe help their parents
